Launch of ArborTag - a product from the first Student Startup of NUCSER | NUCSER

Nitte University Centre for Science Education & Research in association with DST-TEC (Nitte DU) and Institution Innovation Council (IIC), proudly launched ArborTag, the first product of its student-led start-up, NatureMark Systems on 3rd February 2024 in the presence of Prof. Dr. M S Moodithaya, Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU, Dr. G Srinikethan, President IIC, Dr. A.P. Achar, CEO, AIC Nitte Incubation Centre, Prof Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER and Prof. Smitha Hegde, Dy. Director, NUCSER at Avishkar Hall, ABSMIDS, Mangalore. Prof. Dr. Indrani Karunasagar Director (Projects, DST-NUTEC) and Prof. Dr. Iddya Karunasagar Advisor (Research & Patents) joined the meeting virtually.

ArborTag is an innovative product developed by the student start-up NatureMark Systems. This revolutionary technology aims to assist corporations in collecting and analyzing carbon sequestration data with unparalleled accuracy, minimizing the likelihood of human error. Notably, the device can generate analysis reports directly on the device with just one tap. NatureMark Systems is an environmental tech startup founded by 7 enthusiastic young men. The co-founders Mr. Mh. Saif Hasmani and Mr. Shivakiran Alva are students of NUCSER.

The launch event witnessed the participation of more than 300 students and faculty members of NUCSER along with the family members of the co-founders. NatureMark Systems is poised to make a lasting impact, and NUCSER, Nitte (DU) remains committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the academic realm.
