Nitte has been providing quality hotel management education since 1992. In recent years, prospects for students of the traditional hotel management training programs have expanded. Besides, there is a realization that the competencies of hospitality, services management, interpersonal skills and communication skills are relevant for careers beyond the traditional “hotel management” sphere.
Keeping these developments in mind and in accordance with the new National Education Policy of 2020 emphasising the need for a more holistic, industry relevant training, the University currently offers three BSc (Hons) programs in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts & Management and Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality and is planning to introduce one more undergraduate program, Hotel Management (Industry Integrated) during the academic year 2026-27.
Pass in Class 12 in any discipline with not less than 45% marks in aggregate with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Exit options as per National Education Policy 2020 On completion of six semesters of the BSc (Honors) Hospitality Management program and having met specified requirements including minimum CGPA, the student can exit with a BSc in Hospitality Management.
Students seeking admission to BSc (Honors) Hospitality Management, are required to submit the Admission Enquiry form available on the homepage of www.nitte.edu.in or through the link, apply.nitte.edu.in
On receipt of the same, the Admission Section will guide students with the process of registration and admission. Admission will be based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.
