This Certificate Course of 6-month duration provides the Commi Chef or Junior Chef with the basic knowledge required to enter a commercial kitchen. Basic knife skills, understanding different cooking methods, equipment maintenance, food safety and hygiene are taught in this course. It prepares aspiring chefs for entry-level positions in commercial kitchens.
This course is approved by the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Eligibility: Pass in Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized Board.
Course Fee: Rs.30,000 + Exam fee of Rs.900 (payable to THSC)
During the six-month course, guidance will be provided to students regarding training and placements in Germany.
