Nitte Institute of Allied Health Sciences (NIAHS), set up in 2025, is a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. Situated in the well-facilitated Medical Sciences Complex at Deralakatte, the institute aims to develop excellence in allied health education, research, and practice through its inter- disciplinary programs and student-focused learning environment.

A noted pathologist and
academician, Prof. Shetty has more than two decades of experience in clinical practice and medical
education. His contributions to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral training have influenced
the academic standards of healthcare education in the region.
Program Coordinator: Mrs Anshya Shankar Rai, MSc Psychology, Master in Hospital Administration
(MHA)
Mrs. Anshya Shankar Rai is the Program Coordinator (I/c) and Assistant Professor of the
MHAHSM program at Nitte Institute of Allied Health Sciences. She has an MSc in Psychology and a
Master's in Hospital Administration. Her research interests are leadership, healthcare strategy,
medical ethics, hospital planning, and public health communication. She has published research on
adolescent mental health and mindfulness and has undergone NABH standards training. She is also the
NSS Program Officer and a member of the Board of Studies for Allied Health Sciences.
MHAHSM students enjoy exposure to state-of-the-art classrooms, online learning platforms, a separate health administration lab, and learning experiences at Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, a 1200+ bed multispecialty teaching hospital. The hospital provides a rich clinical environment for hands-on learning in hospital operations, patient flow, quality systems, and health informatics.

On receipt of the same, the Admission Section will guide students with the process of registration and admission.
