B.Pharm
The B.Pharm course is outlined to meet the current trends in the profession of Pharmacy. A B.Pharm graduate is competent to perform roles of a Hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Industrial Pharmacist (involved in manufacture, production, and quality control of medicines), Medical Marketing.
Programme Educational Objectives
- PEO1: Provide high-quality pharmaceutical education to produce efficient pharmacists with entrepreneurial and innovative skills with ethical standards.
- PEO2: Develop adequate knowledge, skill and positive attitude among the students.
- PEO3: Develop research aptitude, inquisitiveness, critical thinking, and scientific temperament among students
- PEO4: Encourage active learning methods like group discussions, seminars, peer interactions etc., to enable students to develop collaboration, cordial interpersonal relationships, communication skills, and other soft skills
- PEO5: Acquire program-specific knowledge in drug discovery, drug screening, formulation development and community health care

Admission Procedure
Eligibility
Pass in Class 12 with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Lateral Entry (B.Pharm)
Pass in DPharm course with at least 45% marks.
Admission Procedure
Students seeking admission to the DPharm/BPharm/PharmD/PharmD (PB)/MPharm courses are required to submit the Admission Query form available on the homepage of www.nitte.edu.in
On receipt of the same, the Admission Section will guide the students with the process of registration and admission.
Admission to the above courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
Documents required for admission to DPharm/BPharm/PharmD
- Class 10 Marks Card (Original + 2 attested copies)
- Class 12 Marks Card (Original + 2 attested copies)
- Diploma Marks Card, Diploma Certificate and Pharmacist Registration Certificate issued by the State Pharmacy Council [for lateral entry candidates only] (Original + 2 attested copies)
- Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended (Original + 2 attested copies)
- Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended (Original)
- Eligibility Certificate issued by Nitte University (This will be handled by Nitte)
- Migration Certificate from the Board of the institution last attended (Original)
- Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner (Original)
- Blood Group Certificate (Original)
- Aadhaar card copy of the student
- Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background, resolution 300-600 dpi Passport size 5 Nos. (35mm x 45mm) & Stamp size 5 Nos. (20mm x 25mm)
Commencement of Course
DPharm/BPharm/PharmD/MPharm courses commence on the date prescribed by the University, generally in August.
