FDP Report on Intel AI for Future Workforce – Train the Trainer
In association with the Intel Digital Readiness Program and Dell Technologies and Staff Development Centre Nitte DU, a six-day faculty development program on “Intel AI for Future Workforce -Train the Trainer” was organised from 23 to 28 June 2025 by the department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine at our institution, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. This program aimed to empower educators with the necessary skills and knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI), enabling them to inspire and guide our students toward a brighter future. A total of 50 faculty members from different colleges of Nitte University participated successfully in the event.
The “Intel AI for Future Workforce-Train the Trainer” program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of advanced AI concepts, comprising three modules: generative AI, natural language processing, computer vision, its potential impact on various fields, and the tools required to deliver the Intel AI for Future Workforce program effectively. Upon successful completion of the training and assessment, faculty participants will be awarded the Intel Coach Certificate, endorsing their expertise in AI and preparing the faculty members to guide our students.
The training sessions were conducted by the Intel Digital Readiness team and Intel-certified trainers from the NMAM Institute of Technology as resource persons from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The session included a theoretical briefing with hands-on programs for all the participants.
