The Department of Information Science and Engineering was established in the year 2001 and offers a 4-year undergraduate program (B.Tech). The initial Intake of 60 students has now grown to 240 students. The undergraduate program is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under the Tier-1 scheme, which corresponds to the Washington Accord and is valid up to the academic year 2026–27. The department also offers a doctoral program.

This will be a bootable tablet which has not yet designed in market, as the board is very small in size of tablet depends on the size of the screen used to built, weight will be less in comparison to other tablets currently available in market, the most important feature of the tablet its low cost making it affordable a wide range of customers.
