Principal
Dr. H.C. Nagaraj
Principal
Dr. H.C. Nagaraj is a veteran in the field of technical education. He obtained his B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Mysore in 1981. Later, he did his M.E. in Communication Systems from Bharathiar University in 1984. His zeal for research and abundant interest in innovations enabled him to earn PhD from the most prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
He has served in the capacity of Dean (Faculty of Engineering) in Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, for the period of three years. He is also an active Fellow of the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), New Delhi.
Dr. H.C. Nagaraj is serving as Principal of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, since September, 2003 till this date.
Message
"We need to unleash the creative potential of our youth and harness their energies towards development and progress. The institution should involve the students in various research and innovation projects compulsorily. Education institutions cannot conduct education effectively, unless they handle effective research and innovation activities."
