The IEEE Student Branch of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bengaluru, operating under the IEEE Bangalore Section, was established in 2005. Its primary objective is to provide platforms for academic interactions through various research-oriented seminars, inspiring students to actively participate in regional conferences, workshops and knowledge-based competitions. These initiatives offer students valuable opportunities to enhance their academic knowledge and technical skills by engaging with eminent scholars and technocrats from India and abroad. All submitted papers will be judged based on their quality, presentation and relevance through a "double-blind" review process, where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. Therefore, the authors are required to preserve the anonymity of submission, while at the same time allowing the reader to fully gain the context of related past work, including their own.
2. Papers that do not conform with "double-blind submission" policies will be rejected without review. Please read the guidelines (given below in the subsequent section named "Instructions for authors: Guidelines to preserve anonymity for "double-blind" submissions") to preserve anonymity with double-blind submission.
3. While submitting the paper via CMT, please ensure that all authors are added in the CMT system. Note that this does not require including author details in the PDF of the paper; authors and their details must be entered only in CMT. Please note that adding new authors will not be permitted once the paper has been submitted for review. However, removal of authors may be permitted with proper justification, and the IEEE Bangalore Subsection reserves the right to make the final decision in such cases.
4. Since the "Accepted and presented papers" of 2026 NMITCON-2026 will be submitted for possible publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, the manuscript must strictly adhere to the standard IEEE two column format and must not be more than 6 pages.

6. The Camera Ready Copy (CRC) of every "accepted" paper will be subjected to the "similarity check" using https://crosscheck.ieee.org/crosscheck/ IEEE Crosscheck and Prohibited Participants List . The CRC that fails these checks would be rejected.

3. Use care in referring to your previous works as related works. Do not omit references to provide anonymity, as this leaves the reviewer unable to grasp the context. Instead, you can reference your past work in the third person format, just like any other piece of related work by another author. For example, instead of "Recently, we have proposed a new protocol [9] ...," sentences in the spirit of “Recently, the authors in [9] have proposed a new protocol ..." may be used.

Dr Malka N. Halgamuge is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She currently serves as Chair of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (Victorian Section) and Vice Chair of the IEEE Victorian Section, Australia. From 2007-2021, Malka worked as a Researcher in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne, where she obtained her PhD. Prof. Marco Re holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome and a PhD in Microelectronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He passed the Italian State Examination qualifying him to practice as a professional engineer and is currently registered with the Order of Engineers of Rome.
He is currently an Associate Professor of Electronics and has obtained the national qualification to serve as a Full Professor at the same university.
He was awarded two NATO scholarships at the University of California, Berkeley, where he conducted research at the Cadence Berkeley Labs, and was also a Visiting Professor at the Technical University of Denmark.
He teaches courses in VLSI System Architectures for Digital Signal Processing, Fundamentals of Electronics, and Digital Electronics. He has also taught Electrical Engineering courses. In addition, he teaches courses in Electroacoustic Components and Systems and Audio Measurement Laboratory.
He is Director of the First-Level Master's Degree Program in Sound and Entertainment Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
He is a founding member of the Euro-Asian Studies Center (CSEA) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and is an associate member of the Center for Contemporary China Studies (CSCC). He is a member of the IEEE and the Audio Engineering Society.
Prof. Marco Re serves as the Rector's Delegate for the development of the university's multimedia systems and is the founder of the “Tor Vergata Studios,” an audio and video recording facility and research center dedicated to advanced multimedia teaching.
His scientific research focuses on the study and hardware implementation of algorithms for Digital Signal Processing (hardware accelerators), both traditional and based on machine learning and artificial intelligence, across a range of application areas, including industrial, military, and space applications. He is the author of approximately 230 publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
For many years, he has served as a member of the Program Committee of the IEEE International Symposium on Computer Arithmetic and of other international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for a number of IEEE journals.
He has participated in the evaluation and review of research and development projects for the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) and other government institutions.
