Delivering the key note address at the 8th Nitte International Conference on the 'Post Pandemic Resurgence: Challenges and Concerns' on 28th December, 2023 Dr. Narasimhan Srinivasan, Associate Professor, University of Connecticut, USA said, "The impact of the pandemic was experienced by all sections and sectors of the world. It was complex and there was no easy solution to this. Now we are in the world of emergence...Though the pandemic disrupted everything, humanity has developed resilience and bounced back. Wonder medicine really worked wonders. Resilience and adaptability are the two lessons we learnt from the pandemic".

Dr. Yashavantha Dongre, Vice-Chancellor, Chanakya University, Bengaluru, inaugurated the Conference. He said, "The pandemic has created a new growth momentum with new perspectives and experiences". Dr. M S Moodithaya, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte University stressed on fostering a culture of collaboration over competition.

Guest of Honour, Dr. Gopal Mugeraya, Vice-President, Technical Education, Nitte University called upon students to develop resilience and aptitude for learning and adaptability. Dr. Gururaj Kidiyoor, Director, JKSHIM gave a summary and highlights of the conference; Dr. T Mallikarjunappa, Convener of the Conference welcomed the gathering and briefed about the conference proceedings. Dr. Sudhir M, Organizing Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.

While Nidhi invoked the blessings of the Almighty, Shama, Rakshitha and Dr. Sudhir Raj K compered the program. Around sixty researchers from India & abroad participated and presented research papers. A research workshop and plenary session was held as a part of the Conference.
