Similarly, if we think about the Nitte Group, it is necessary to recall the contributions of teachers like Prof. G R Rai. Former Principal of NMAMIT, Prof. G Raghunath Rai, who was invited to receive the Engineers' Day award, speaking on the occasion said, 'Every human being can prosper if he works hard according to his position and duties'.

15 faculty members of the institute who were awarded the PhD degree during 2022-23 were felicitated on the occasion of Teachers' Day celebration. As part of the Engineers' day celebrations, Prof. G. R. Rai was felicitated.

Dr. KS Shivaprakash, Professor (ECE) and Dr. Sneha Nayak, Asst. Professor (Biotech) were awarded with the Distinguished Teacher Award by Nitte University. Dr. Louella Concepta Goveas, Asst. Professor (Biotech) was awarded with the Distinguished Researcher Award. Dr. Louella along with Dr. Shyam Prasad Sajankila, Assoc. Professor (Biotech) were selected for Best Research Paper Award.
