'ELIXIR-Transforming Ideas into Reality' | NMAMIT

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte organised the eleventh edition of its mega student hobby project exhibition 'ELIXIR-Transforming Ideas into Reality' on 21st November 2022 in Sadananda Auditorium, Nitte.
Shri. Vishal Hegde, Pro-Chancellor (Admin), Nitte Deemed to be University inaugurated the event. A total of 117 projects were demonstrated. Shri. Vishal Hegde stressed the role and importance of electrical engineers in the current world scenario. He also encouraged students to transform their projects into products.
Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, in his presidential remarks, appreciated the efforts of the department in organizing eleven successful editions of ELIXIR.
The Inventory Management App, Elites app, Solar Street light and Electric Omni developed by the students and staff of the department were launched by the Chief Guest. The projects were focused on demonstrating fundamental concepts, applications of microcontrollers, simulations on digital signal processing and power system analysis & stability. A large number of students from the first year, students from other departments and alumni of the E&E department witnessed the event. The event was supported by the alumni of the Department of E&E.
Dr. Srinivasa Rao B R, Vice Principal & CoE and Mr. Anup Shetty, ELIXIR Staff coordinator were present on the stage. Dr. Suryanarayana K, Head, Department of E&E welcomed the gathering. Mr. Samith Suvarna, student coordinator of ELIXIR delivered the formal vote of thanks. Ms. Jane, student of E&E was the master of ceremony.
