The MTech in Electric Vehicle Technology is a multidisciplinary program. The curriculum is designed in collaboration with EV industry will cover key aspects related to fundamentals of electric vehicles, power electronics & drivetrain, energy storage systems, alternate energy sources like hydrogen fuel cells and solar PV, battery management & control system, fast chargers & charging infrastructure, and application of AI/ML techniques for leveraging the Battery Management and Communication.
The syllabus of the program is developed in such a way to help the students develop skill sets required to purse job opportunities in EV product development including EV integration, quality assurance & vehicle aggregate engineering, smart communication, verification, validation and product planning. The unique feature of the program is that it has an extensive laboratory component with a newly developed EV lab, to ensure that the students get a hands-on feel of the EV technology. Moreover, during the duration of the program, various guest lectures and frequent interaction with the industry experts will be arranged. This will enable the students to understand the state of art dynamics and the development of the technology in the EV industry.
