AINNOVATION 24 hour Hackathon

AINNOVATION II 2025 Code4Bharat, powered by Kyndryl and Microsoft and hosted by NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte concluded successfully on 24  September 2025. The event brought together students from various institutions to develop impactful, technology-driven solutions for societal needs.

The program was inaugurated informally by the officials from Kyndryl and Microsoft on 23rd September 2025. The valedictory ceremony on 24th September soon after the 24-hour hackathon was graced by Sri Vishal Hegde, Pro-Chancellor (Admn), Nitte University; Mr. Shankara Srinivasan, Sr. Vice President – Global Delivery Leadership, Kyndryl; Dr. Raj Mohan C, Director (Delivery Management) and India University Leader, Kyndryl; Mr. Sumit Ranjan, Data & AI Program Lead, Microsoft and Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT.

The Null Pointers team from St. Joseph College, comprising Rion Jayden Valdar, Salomi Dsouza, Mac Reon Dsouza and Milton Braggs emerged as winners of the challenge. The Bio Innovators team from Canara Engineering College, including Ananya Bhat, Prateek Prakash Kini, Sujan Kumar Shetty and Lakshmish M Prabhu, secured the first runners-up position, while the Undefined team from AJ Institute of Engineering and Technology, consisting of Jnanesh, Milan C I, Himanshu Hegde and Gauresh G Pai, were declared second runners-up.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Bharath Kumar & Mr. Ankith Kumar from the Dept. of Counselling, Welfare, Training & Placement along with Dr. Shashank Shetty, Assoc. Professor, Computer Science. Dr. Anusha R Sharath, Asst. Professor, Electronics & Communication, served as the master of ceremonies.
