NCC training session at boat pool, Udyavara

A training session was held at 6(Kar) Naval NCC Boat Pool, Udayavara, for the cadets of 6(KAR) Naval subunit NCC, NMAMIT, Nitte on 18th March 2023. A total of 22 cadets were trained by the senior cadets who had recently appeared for the 'C' certificate exam.

Cadets reported at 8.30 am at the boat pool, and they were divided into groups and trained in various activities like boat pulling,  semaphore, rigging, and EP boat rigging. The ANO, Sub Lt. (Dr.) Shivaprasad Shetty provided systematic training for boat pulling. The senior cadets conducted semaphore and rigging sessions. Cadet Saanya D Shetty, who attended the All India Yachting Regatta, introduced the sailing and rigging of EP boats. All these activities were conducted in the presence of the PI Staff of the 6(Kar) Naval Unit.
