The Women's Forum of AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences organized a Guest Lecture on 'Mental Health & Wellbeing for Better Quality of Life in Health Professionals' for Interns on 24th October 2022. Prof. (Dr) US Krishna Nayak, Principal & Dean, ABSMIDS presided over the function. Prof. (Dr) Amitha Ramesh, President Women's Forum welcomed the gathering and Prof. (Dr) Darshana Devadiga, Secretary of Women's Forum introduced the resource person. 

Dr. Rameela Shekhar, Mental Health Professional & Trainer, Manashanthi Counseling, Research & Training Centre, Mangaluru was the Guest Speaker. She spoke on various aspects of mental health & its applications for a better quality of life. Dr. Sonika Achalli, Joint Secretary, Women's Forum delivered the vote of thanks. Dr. Teena DSouza compered the program. The program was attended by 81 participants and feedback showed a positive response.
