A two-day Workshop on Fashion Photography was conducted by well known fashion photographer, Pritham Denzil D’souza on the 15th and 16th of November. Popularly known as the Metal Farmer, he is known for his fashion shoots and also for architecture photography. Day 1 of the Workshop was Studio Photography using a male and a female model. Students were taught indoor photography and how to use studio lights. The look of the models here was casual with denims and jackets and the props used included a sofa, a bar stool and a table. Day 2 of the Workshop focussed on environmental portraits, shot on location, outside the studio – the looks given to the models were glamourous; with partywear and high heels for the female model and formals for the male. Accessories were in tune with the clothes they were wearing and this was a completely hands-on session. The day ended with a question and answer session. This Workshop was for the students of PG Diploma in Photography & Filmmaking and also for the Masters students.
