Established in 2012, the Institute offers programs that blend theory and practice to provide holistic education. Through events, fests, talks and conferences, students at the Institute are exposed to media professionals, giving them a peek into the industry; as well as eminent scholars and academics from the Humanities, exposing them to important ideas and perspectives.
A four-year course that covers a range of topics, both practical and theoretical, BA (Honors) Media & Communication at Nitte Institute of Communication has a curriculum that lays a lot of emphasis on experiential learning. Students learn by "doing", be it bringing out a newspaper, designing a radio package, making a short film or working on events.
Pass in Class 12 with not less than 50% marks in aggregate with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
The course commences as per the date prescribed by Nitte (Deemed to be University), most likely in the first week of August. The exact date will be communicated by the Institution.
