About the Institute

Established in 2012, the Institute offers programs that blend theory and practice to provide holistic education. About the Program

A four-year course that covers a range of topics, both practical and theoretical, BA (Honors) Media & Communication at Nitte Institute of Communication has a curriculum that lays a lot of emphasis on experiential learning. Students learn by "doing", be it bringing out a newspaper, designing a radio package, making a short film or working on events.

Eligibility

Pass in Class 12 with not less than 50% marks in aggregate with English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Procedure

Students seeking admission to BA (Honors) Media & Communication are required to submit the Registration Form available on the homepage of apply.nitte.edu.in

On receipt of the same, the Admission Section will guide the students with the process of registration and admission. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Documents to be submitted for BA (Honors) Media & Communication (Original + 3 attested copies)

  • Class 10 Marks Card
  • Class 12 Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended
  • Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended
  • Migration Certificate from the Board of the institution last studied
  • Eligibility Certificate issued by Nitte University (This will be handled by Nitte)
  • Physical fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner
  • Blood group Certificate
  • Aadhaar card copy of the student
  • Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background of resolution 300 - 600 dpi Passport size 5 Nos. (35mm x 45mm) & Stamp size 5 Nos. (20mm x 25mm)

Commencement of Program

The course commences as per the date prescribed by Nitte (Deemed to be University), most likely in the first week of August. The exact date will be communicated by the Institution.
