Faculty Development Programme on Stress Management and Emotional Intelligence

The Staff Development Centre, Nitte Deemed to be University, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Bengaluru, successfully organised a One-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Stress Management and Emotional Intelligence for Academic and Professional Effectiveness" on 27.06.2026 at the Master Hirannaiah Auditorium.
Mr. Parameshwara Biradar, an Agile, Leadership and Emotional Intelligence Coach at Bosch Global Software Technologies, was the resource person. The programme focused on helping faculty members understand the importance of emotional intelligence, effective stress management, resilience, and leadership skills to enhance academic excellence and professional effectiveness. Through interactive discussions and practical activities, participants gained valuable insights into maintaining work-life balance, improving interpersonal relationships, and fostering a positive learning environment.
The programme was convened by Dr. Sreenath M. V., Deputy Director, Staff Development Centre, Nitte University, and coordinated by Prof. Chaithra Y. N., Assistant Professor, Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Bengaluru. The FDP served as a meaningful platform for promoting well-being, emotional resilience, and professional growth within the academic community.
