Dr. NSAM First Grade College celebrated “Samvidhan Diwas” (Constitution Day) on 26.11.2025 with great respect and enthusiasm to honour the adoption of the Constitution of India and to reaffirm our collective commitment to its guiding principles. The event aimed to remind students and staff of the legacy of the Constitution and the responsibilities it entrusts to every citizen.
The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the historical significance of the day and the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. Faculty members addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of constitutional values such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in shaping an inclusive and democratic society.
As a mark of respect and shared responsibility, all students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff joined together to read the Preamble aloud, symbolising unity and reaffirming their pledge to uphold the ideals enshrined in the Constitution. This collective reading created a powerful atmosphere of solidarity and national pride.
The programme concluded on a patriotic and reflective note with the National Anthem, further reinforcing a sense of belonging, dignity, and pride among all present. The observance of Samvidhan Diwas at the college thus served as a meaningful tribute to India’s constitutional heritage, inspiring everyone to embody its values in their personal and academic lives.
