Dr. NSAM First Grade College Organised Cancer Awareness Programme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Dr. NSAM First Grade College, under the aegis of IQAC, and in association with NCC and YRC, organised a Cancer Awareness Programme for teaching and non-teaching staff members on 28th October 2025 at the Master Hirannaiah Auditorium.
Dr. Shilpa M, an Oncologist from Sparsh Hospital, Yeshwanthpura, Bengaluru, served as the resource person and delivered an informative talk on cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle practices. Her address emphasised the importance of awareness and timely medical consultation in combating cancer.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Narendra Babu C. R., NSS Programme Officer, with the support of the NCC and YRC coordinators. The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a vote of thanks.
