Skill-on-Wheels program

The Johnson & Johnson Institute for Surgical Education conducted a two-day industrial workshop at K S Hegde Medical Academy on 15th & 16th June 2026. The Skill-on-Wheels program featured a specially equipped Volvo training bus and provided hands-on training in suturing, knotting, tendon repair, pelvic trainer modules and laparoscopic suturing. Faculty members, postgraduates and undergraduate students from the Departments of General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Orthopaedics actively participated, gaining valuable practical surgical skills.
