Laboratory life - Making the invisible visible

The Department of Biochemistry organized a CME on Laboratory life: Making the invisible visible - where every sample counts on 22nd April 2026 at KS Hegde Medical Academy. The CME featured expert sessions by Mr. Sadanish R, Sr. Zonal Manager, Ortho Care, Application Support, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and Dr. Shwetha N, Medical Affairs Manager, South Plain, BD. Around 250 delegates from various medical colleges across Karnataka attended the program. As part of the academic activities, a reel-making competition was conducted for MLT students and laboratory technicians. The intercollegiate quiz competition conducted for III BSc MLT students saw participation from 11 teams in the preliminary round, with four teams advancing to the finals. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners.
