“KSHEMA NEXUS - Where Physiology Connects”

The Department of Physiology, KS Hegde Medical Academy successfully organized a two-day postgraduate lecture series, “KSHEMA NEXUS - Where Physiology Connects”, in hybrid mode on 29th & 30th April 2026.

The program featured expert lectures on contemporary topics such as immunotherapy, antidiabetic medications, aviation physiology, transgender physiology, artificial intelligence in clinical physiology, acid-base balance and ABG analysis. Eminent speakers from various medical institutions shared recent advances and clinical applications, making the sessions highly interactive and academically enriching for postgraduate students, faculty and healthcare professionals.
A postgraduate scientific presentation session was also conducted, providing young researchers a platform to present their scientific work and engage in academic discussions. The event highlighted the evolving role of physiology in modern medicine, research, and interdisciplinary healthcare, while the hybrid format ensured wider accessibility and active participation.
