The 9th Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) Provider Course

The 9th Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) Provider Course was successfully conducted by KSHEMA in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of England on 26th & 27th February 2026 at NUMEDISIM, under the guidance of Dr. KR Bhagavan and Dr. AG Jayakrishnan, focusing on the early recognition and management of critically ill surgical patients. The course was supported by faculty from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, including Dr. Ian Maheshwaran, Dr. Srinivasan Ravi, Dr. Prabakar Dharmeswaran, Dr. Thaventhran Prabhahar and Dr. Neil Molony. A total of 16 candidates from across South India participated and 14 candidates successfully completed the course. Two candidates were advised to undergo a reassessment in moulage. Additionally, two previously rolled-over candidates, Dr. Harsha Kumar & Dr. Sanveen, successfully cleared their assessment. Dr. Krithi passed with Instructor Potential.
