The Alumni Association, Placement & Career Guidance Cell and IQAC of KS Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) organised an Alumni Talk on “From Medical College to the Battlefield: Life, Learning and Leadership in the Army Medical Corps” by Lt. Col. (Dr) Karthik Kanakoor (MBBS 2003 batch), Asst. Professor, Biochemistry, JSS Medical College & Hospital, Mysuru at the college premises on 20th February 2026.

Dr. Sukanya Shetty, Vice Dean, KSHEMA welcomed the resource person. Dr. Rachana, Member, KSHEMA Alumni Association, hosted the session. Lt. Col. (Dr) Karthik Kanakoor shared his personal journey mixed with lessons for young doctors.

Around 236 participants attended the program.
