JKSHIM celebrates Onam with Color, Dance and Tradition

The Srjana Association at Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management brought the spirit of Kerala to campus on 26th August 2026, with a full Onam celebration that drew students and faculty together for a day of culture and festivity. Layered in shades of yellow, orange, red & white, the pookalam that the students had spent hours putting together, became the visual centerpiece of the program.

Dr. Sudhir M, Director of the institute spoke about the importance of festivals like this on campus and praised the students for their hard work and dedication. He reminded the audience that Onam marks the harvest season in Kerala, a time associated with prosperity, abundance and gratitude.
