NITTE CENTER FOR DATA ANALYTICS
The Center for Data Analytics at Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, gives students access to globally renowned business, financial, regulatory and market database, that is used virtually by all of the major financial and research firms and organizations around the globe.
This Center is for students who are passionate about financial markets and with the most enterprising approach can thrive on solving complex problems. The Center allows professors to bring the real world into the classroom and provides students with the same platform used by the world’s leading banks, corporations and government agencies to enhance their academic studies across a wide range of disciplines. The Center enables students to navigate vast volumes of data across industries and asset classes connecting the students to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas. With access to most relevant and trusted source of information and insights, they can make informed decisions.
The Center currently houses 12 Bloomberg terminals that deliver data, news and analytics through innovative technology, quickly and accurately.
The JKSHIM Investment Club (JIC) is a Student Management Investment Fund registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960. JIC is established with an intention of providing hands on experience in investment management to the students. The Club also aims at contributing towards increasing the financial literacy by conducting workshops, seminars and training programs. JIC is entirely managed by the students of JKSHIM.
JIC is for students who possess an aptitude for implementing technology and who look beyond the status quo in a quest to improve capabilities and skill sets, to keep pace with the constantly evolving data landscape. At JIC, like minded individuals with a passion for investment come together to share information, knowledge and ideas, resulting in a great synergistic education for all.
