Director's Profile

Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum, specialised in Marketing Management. He has been working as a faculty member in Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management in Nitte since 2000. His areas of teaching interest include Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior and Research Methodology. He has participated in several seminars and workshops and presented papers on areas like Ethics in marketing and Cause Related marketing. His areas of research interest include corporate philanthropy, and cause related marketing. He has presented research papers in various national and International Conferences held in India and abroad. He has organized several national seminars international conferences which have generated good response from India and abroad. His doctoral thesis has been in the area of “Corporate-NGO partnership and social development- A study in Karnataka” under the guidance of Dr. M.S. Moodithaya.

Dr.Sudhir is also involved in consultancy and training programs for various public as well as private sector organizations in the area of leadership development, marketing effectiveness, and sales enhancement and branding. He has conducted more than 50 training programs and EDPs for academicians, banking professionals, medical practitioners and marketing and sales professionals. Along with teaching, Prof. Sudhir has handled various administrative responsibilities such as managing the Post Graduate Program, Branding and Promotion, alumni affairs and Placement activities at the institute. He also served as Dean at Canara Nitte School of Banking. Other than the academic activities he also takes lot of interest in organizing various events and programs to guide the students in career development, personal effectiveness, experiential learning, public speaking and communication.
