A guest lecture by Mr Masood Shaikh, Former Vice President – Investment Banking, Accenture and Independent Fund Manager, Mangalore on “Behavioural Aspects in Investments” was organized on 20th February 2026.

Mr. Shaikh provided valuable insights into how psychological biases influence investment decisions and market behavior. He discussed key behavioural biases such as overconfidence, loss aversion, anchoring, herding and recency bias, illustrating them with practical examples from real-world financial markets. Drawing from his extensive industry experience, he emphasized how emotional and cognitive biases impact portfolio construction, trading decisions and long-term wealth creation.
