Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte had the privilege of hosting an insightful guest session on “Navigating Management Challenges in the Digital Era,” delivered by Ms Laxmi Shetty, HR & Talent Acquisition Head, Robosoft Technologies, Udupi on 21st November 2025.

The lecture centred on the rapid evolution of organisations in the digital age and how future managers must adapt to thrive in environments shaped by technology, globalisation and a multi-generational workforce. Ms. Shetty highlighted key contemporary management dimensions such as Digital Transformation & the growing need for agile business models; Redefining Talent Management in a landscape led by AI, analytics & hybrid work; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) as drivers of innovation & organizational culture; Employee wellbeing and work-life integration as core pillars of performance & productivity and Ethical responsibilities and human-centred leadership in a technology-driven world. Her talk emphasized the importance of continuous learning, empathetic leadership and future-readiness among aspiring managers. Students were encouraged to build digital competence, adaptability and inclusiveness as integral professional traits.

The speaker’s perspective on evolving employee expectations and organizational responsibilities, offered students a holistic view of emerging workplace realities. The session proved to be immensely valuable for the students, enabling them to connect academic knowledge with practical industry challenges.
