Nitte Institute of Architecture (NIA) is currently hosting a two-day power workshop for students interested in cracking the NATA examinations on April 10 and 11. This free workshop is in association with DQ Labs who have excelled in NATA training. The sessions are being conducted at the Nitte Education International building, Pumpwell, Mangaluru. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam is a prequalification for entrance into architecture degree programs all over the country.
Aspiring NATA candidates are undergoing a crash course that includes mock tests, and intense exercises on perspective drawing, architectural awareness, visual spatial ability, mental ability and logical reasoning. More than 80 focussed aspiring candidates from in and around Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikmagaluru, Kodagu, North Karnataka and Kerala are attending this workshop.
This is an outreach program by NIA and Nitte (Deemed to be University) to help students of the region acquire skills in a short duration free of cost. NIA encourages a lot of student-friendly workshops and seminars, and is organizing this workshop for the third consecutive year. The NATA exam is on Sunday, April 14th, 2019.
