Nitte Institute of Architecture hosted a thrilling Kite Workshop featuring two world-renowned kite experts:
-Konstantin Ratsos (Greece), World Kite Challenge Champion 2023
-Bob Cruikshanks (UK), a former avionics engineer and master kite designer
Students were captivated by their stories, techniques and the remarkable fusion of engineering, creativity and passion behind kite-making. The workshop was an inspiring and energetic experience, offering a unique glimpse into the art and science of kites.
Both these global icons demonstrated their work on 18th & 19th January 2025 at the ONGC MRPL International Kite Festival in Mangaluru at the Tannirbhavi beach!
