NIA Conversations & IED Masterclass

On 22 May 2024, the Nitte Institute of Architecture hosted NIA Conversations & IED Masterclass, with Wouter Haspeshlagh, Chief Mobility Designer at Granstudio,Turin, Italy steered by Dr. Syed Riyaz, Deputy Director (International Relations), Nitte University and Ar.Nitin Bhardwaj, Coordinator of Experiential Learning Center at NIA. The session featured Wouter Haspeshlagh, who spoke on 'Designers as Agents of Change,' highlighting the significant impact designers have, on shaping the future through their influence on everyday experiences and the broader environment. Sugat Das also addressed the students, focusing on the core concepts of design and innovation in architecture, and the value of advanced education in enhancing foundational bachelor's degree knowledge. The event underscored the transformative power of design and the responsibility of designers to envision and craft a better tomorrow.
