Principal

Prof. (Dr.) R. Narayana Charyulu is an esteemed academician with over three decades of experience in pharmaceutical education and research. He holds a B. Pharm Degree from SCS College of Pharmacy, Harapanahalli (1986), M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal (1991), and Ph.D from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (2005).

Dr. Charyulu has been an integral part of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences since 1991, contributing significantly to its growth and academic excellence. Over the years, he has served in various leadership roles, including Assistant Professor, Reader, Professor, Vice Principal, and Dean. Currently, he holds the position of Principal and Dean and Head of the Department, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs.

As a dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Charyulu has guided over 100 post-graduate students and 15 Ph.D Scholars. He has made remarkable contributions to pharmaceutical science, authoring 10 textbooks and book chapters and publishing more than 200 research papers in reputed national and international journals.

Dr. Charyulu's research expertise lies in Novel Drug Delivery Systems, a field in which he has made significant advancements. He has also been awarded research grants from prestigious bodies such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST) for his scholarly work.

Prof. Charyulu's passion for teaching, research, and innovation continues to inspire the next generation of pharmacists and scientists.
