Swachh Bharat Shramadan

The Swachh Sena Unit of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, led by Prof. Rakesh Krishna and Prof. Jayesh Chandran, including students of NIPT, participated in the Swachh Bharat Shramadan event at Kottara Chowki, Mangaluru on 9th June 2024. The event was aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility among the community members. The team focused on cleaning the surroundings of the flyover at Kottara Chowki. The cleaning drive began at 7:15 AM and concluded by 9:30 AM. The participants diligently worked to clear litter, remove debris and ensure the area under & around the flyover was thoroughly cleaned.

The event raised awareness about the importance of community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The collective effort and dedication of the participants were commendable, and the event served as an inspiration for ongoing and future environmental activities.
