Training and Placement Cell

The Training and Placement Cell functions under the supervision of a placement officer to bridge the journey of a student from academics to prospective pharma sector. The training program incorporates the best practices required for boosting the employability of the students. Students are trained in team aptitude and soft skills, to develop logical and verbal reasoning. Time to time, value-added courses are also offered to meet the dynamic requirements of the Pharmaceutical Industries and Health Sectors.

Regular seminars, workshops, pre-placement training sessions, are organized in a motivating, and interactive manner, which gives bounteous scope for the students to face the future challenges.

Language Lab: Communication has evolved beyond face-to-face interaction in the digital age. NCOPS trains students with skills required to communicate and express more effectively regardless of the medium we choose to connect.

Industry – Institute Collaboration: The objective of this Cell is to reduce the gap between industry expectations and academic offerings by direct involvement of industry expert and experts from IT, health and Finance sector to attain a symbiosis.

On October 4, 2023, the Placement Cell at Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru Campus, hosted a campus drive for Cortis MedTech Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru-based medical device company that specializes in wound care and surgical solutions.

The event commenced with Principal Dr. V. Kusum Devi introducing the company's HR team, which included CEO Dr. A. Raja. The selection process involved a company presentation, a written test, a technical aptitude test, and a personal interview. The drive, attended by B. Pharm students, concluded with the selection of two candidates.

The Placement Cell of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru Campus, organized an off-campus placement drive on October 18, 2023. Bio Extract is a leading manufacturer and exporter of standardized botanical extracts, herbal powders, carotenoids, and nutraceutical ingredients. With over a decade of experience, the company serves pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries across 13 countries.

B. Pharm students participated in the drive, which included stages such as a company presentation, written test, technical round, and personal interview. The Placement Cell ensured smooth coordination and preparation for the students. As a result, one student from NCOPS was successfully selected.

On Monday, 18 September 2023, the Placement Cell at Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru Campus, hosted a recruitment drive for OG Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services and innovative medical solutions.

The program opened with Principal Dr. V. Kusum Devi extending a warm welcome and introducing the HR team, which included Dr. Sanjeev and Ms. Sarita. The selection procedure comprised a detailed company presentation, a technical aptitude evaluation, and personal interviews. The drive, attended by B. Pharm students, concluded with four candidates successfully chosen.

The recruitment process featured a company presentation followed by a technical aptitude assessment and personal interviews. The campus drive, attended by B.
