Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an Induction Program to warmly welcome the first-semester students of the Nitte University batch. The program aimed to ease the transition into college life by familiarizing students with the academic environment, institutional values, and support systems. The session began with a welcome address by Dr. V. Kusum Devi, Principal, who introduced the vision and ethos of the institution. Ms. Shylaja Shastri, the Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring motivational talk, encouraging students to embrace their academic journey with enthusiasm and purpose. Interactive ice-breaking activities and team-building games helped students bond with their peers, while a guided campus tour introduced them to the college's infrastructure and resources. Students also received an academic orientation through departmental presentations by Heads of Departments, covering curriculum details and departmental initiatives. Key institutional committees, including the Mentor-Mentee Program, Anti-Ragging Committee, Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), NSS, and Cultural Committee, presented their roles in supporting student development, safety, and engagement. The program concluded with students feeling welcomed, informed, and motivated to begin their educational journey at Nitte University with confidence and a sense of belonging.
