The Department of Pharmaceutics, in association with the Placement Cell of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bengaluru, organized a guest lecture on the topic “Pharma Horizons: Crafting Careers in Sales, Marketing & Overseas Education” on 25th June 2025 at the college seminar hall. The session featured two esteemed speakers: Mr. Nawaz Ahammed, Area Sales Manager at Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited, Bengaluru, who delivered an insightful talk on career opportunities in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, interview preparation strategies, and industry expectations; and Ms. Neha Srivastava, Destination Expert at IDP India Private Limited, Bengaluru, who provided a comprehensive overview of postgraduate pharmacy programs abroad, including details on university selection, registration procedures, intake timelines, financial requirements, documentation, and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Both sessions were highly informative and provided valuable guidance to students in planning their career paths.
