Skill Development: Enhancing Personal & Professional Growth

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) UK, organized a two-day workshop titled “Skill Development: Enhancing Personal & Professional Growth” on 4th and 5th March. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' expertise in pharmaceutical sciences by covering key topics related to drug development, analytical techniques, and career growth. Renowned experts delivered insightful sessions, including Dr. Ramesh A R, who spoke on the identification of potential impurities in APIs based on the route of synthesis, and Dr. Veeresh P V, who discussed HPLC method development, validation, and troubleshooting. Dr. Jayanta Chatterjee provided insights into orally bioavailable macrocyclic peptides, while Dr. Subhas S Karki explained NMR spectroscopy for compound interpretation. Dr. Parasuraman Pavadai explored AI applications in drug discovery, offering insights from a case study. The workshop served as a valuable platform for 130 delegates , researchers, and professionals to expand their knowledge, engage with experts, and develop industry-relevant skills.
