The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an Exposure and Field Visit for Problem recognition, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students visited Fibroheal Wound care Private Limited, a leader silk protein-based wound care innovations. This experience provided understanding into industry-driven research, sustainable healthcare solutions, and biotech commercialization, emphasizing UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). The visit fostered problem-solving skills, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications, by inspired students to explore research-driven entrepreneurship in pharmaceuticals and medical technology.
