PHARMACY FOR HEALTH: WORLD AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME

The NSS Unit of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bangalore, organized World AIDS Day, on 12th December 2024 at NSOM. The session Featured with guest speaker Dr. Praveen Kumar, Head of Clinical Pharmacologist, Aster DM Healthcare, was addressing the role of pharmacology in HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention. Students are actively participated in an e-poster presentation with the theme “Think Pharmacy” and a skit competition to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and the role of pharmacists in public health. The event successfully combined by learning, awareness, and student engagement, promoting the importance of pharmacy in healthcare.
