RASTRIYA POSHAN MAHA: VISIT TO NAMS SNEHASADAN

The NSS unit of Nitte College of Pharmaceutical and Sciences had the wonderful opportunity to visit NAMS Snehasadan, an orphanage and old age home on September 14, 2024. The event was centred around the theme Nutrition and "Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi," where we focused on the importance of nutrition. During our visit, we engaged with the residents by explaining key concepts of healthy eating and nutrition. Our volunteers also brightened the day by singing songs and sharing joyful moments, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to the educational component, we distributed essential items including pens, books, fruits, and various food items to meet the residents' needs. This initiative allowed us to connect with the community and contribute positively to their lives.
