FACECRAFT 2.0 - TRAUMA 360°

FACECRAFT 2.0, a first of its kind advanced cadaveric dissection course on Maxillofacial Trauma, was successfully conducted by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, ABSMIDS in collaboration with the Department of Anatomy, K S Hegde Medical Academy from 21st to 23rd August 2026. As a prelude to this program, a series of 15 Online Lectures were held by international faculty. The program featured hands-on dissection on fresh frozen cadavers demonstrating various surgical approaches to the facial skeleton in managing maxillofacial Trauma. Didactic lectures, panel discussions, evidence-based treatment protocols were discussed providing participants with valuable practical exposure and opportunities for expert interaction and academic exchange.

About 110 delegates from across the country participated in the 3-day program held at A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences.
