World Oral Health Day

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS commemorated the World Oral Health Day on 20th March 2026.

Ms. Aparajitha, Intern, welcomed the gathering. Prof. (Dr) Mithra. N Hegde, Principal, ABSMIDS delivered the presidential address. A role play performed by III BDS students on the theme ‘Healthy mouth is a healthy life’ highlighted the relationship between good oral health and positive mental wellbeing. A selfie booth and Oral Health Education Models prepared by the III BDS Students were displayed.

Prof. (Dr) Audrey M D’Cruz, HoD, Public Health Dentistry, delivered the vote of thanks. A total of 200 participants attended the program.
