Children’s day Celebration

The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry organized an event for the students of Sri Ramakrishna Aided School, Harekala on 17th November 2025 at Vimshathi Bhavan, to mark National Children’s Day and commemorate the National Pedodontist Day.

A drawing competition with the theme, “Friends and Enemies of my Teeth” and an elocution competition on “Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life” were held, to highlight the importance of good dental care and encourage children to share their thoughts on maintaining overall well-being. Fun-filled games were also part of the celebrations. The competitions were judged by Prof. (Dr.) Srikala Bhandary and Dr. Prajna Nayak. Group Pharmaceuticals, the industry collaborator for the program, generously sponsored the refreshments, stationery kits, toothpastes and prizes, which were distributed to the students.
