Beach Cleaning Drive

The NSS Unit of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences conducted a Beach Cleaning Drive at Ullal Beach as part of the Special Campaign 5.0 Activities under the Swachhata Action Plan, as per the directive of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GoI on 26th October 2025.

Approximately 40 NSS student volunteers participated enthusiastically in the cleaning drive. The Chief Guest, Mr. Santosh Kumar D, Sub-Inspector, Ullal Police Station, along with his team, inaugurated the drive and addressed the student volunteers.

The NSS Program Officers of ABSMIDS, Dr. Kumuda Rao and Prof. (Dr) Avaneendra Talwar, coordinated and supervised the program.
