Course Overview
The Certificate course in Advanced Endodontics is designed to provide dental professionals with advanced knowledge and clinical skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues. This course will prepare participants to perform root canal treatments, manage dental trauma and handle various endodontic procedures with a high degree of competence and confidence.

- Endodontic Diagnosis and Case Assessment
- Endodontic Microbiology and Immunology
- Anatomy of the Root Canal System
- Endodontic Instruments and Materials
- Access cavity preparations
- Working length estimation
- Obturation techniques
- Preclinical Exercises on Extracted Tooth
- (Anterior tooth 10 numbers | Posterior tooth 10 numbers)
Semester 2: Advanced Endodontic Techniques (7 months)
- 1. Root Canal Treatment Procedures on patients
- Post Endodontic restorations
- Endodontic Retreatment and Complications
- Endodontic Emergencies and Trauma Management
- Technology in Endodontics
- Laser-Assisted Endodontics | Microscopes in Endodontic Practice |Different
irrigation devices
- Quota for completion of course
- Minimum 100 completed root canal cases on patient
- Minimum 5 completed cases of post and core
Assessment and Evaluation
- Written Examinations (Theory)
End-of-Semester Exams covering theoretical knowledge on Endodontics
- Practical Exams (Clinical Skills)
Assessment of clinical performance on real patients.
- Case Reports and Presentations
10 Detailed reports on complex clinical cases treated during the course
- Continuous Assessment
Regular quizzes, assignments and participation in discussion
Certification
