The ceremonial Investiture of the Students Council and the Freshers Day

The ceremonial Investiture of the Students Council and the Freshers Day of Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services (NIHS) was held on 9th September 2023.

The Chief Guest Mr. Peter Nirmal, General Manager, Vivanta by Taj, gave the badges to the newly elected Students Council members. He motivated the students on the importance of hard work, commitment, sincerity, eye for detail and imbibing an attitude of service by sharing his personal experiences from his hospitality career of 33 years with the Taj Group of Hotels.

Mr. Anush Kamat, alumnus of the college and employee of Vivanta was feted personally by the college for his exceptional guest engagement at Vivanta that got him high commendations from the top management of IHCL-Taj Group of Hotels.

The Freshers Day program conducted in the College Cafeteria, included cultural events by the seniors and freshers and ended with a sumptuous lunch prepared by the students of NIHS.
