SNA Investiture Ceremony 2026

The SNA Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held on 12th June 2026 at Avishkar Auditorium, ABSMIDS, with the participation of 350 students and 10 faculty members of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences.

The ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) office bearers for the academic year 2026-27. The program began with a prayer song, lamp lighting and welcome address, followed by the presentation of the SNA Annual Report and reflections by the outgoing Vice President. A video showcasing the achievements of the outgoing team added to the celebrations.

The oath-taking was administered by Dr. Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal, NUINS, followed by addresses from the new SNA Advisor, Mrs. Vicky Priya Fernandes and the newly elected Vice President, Ms. Irene Rose. Certificates and mementos were presented to the outgoing office bearers in recognition of their contributions.

Chief guest, Dr. Jnaneshwar Pai Maroor, Principal, Nitte Institute of Professional Education encouraged students to uphold leadership qualities, professional values and a spirit of service. A special felicitation was held to honor Prof. (Dr) Fatima Dsilva for her outstanding leadership and dedicated service as Principal of NUINS.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks.
